"Barley Twist" is a combination of a wiggly stripe and a twist incorporating 3 ink colours. Inspired by beautiful smooth curves in barley twist turned legs on antique chairs. Screen printing with 3 different colours is literally 3 times the work, but totally worth it. The irregular stripes give a circus-feel creating movement and energy.
Hand screen printed in highlighter pink, spring green and olive green on off-white linen.
